Village Hotel Bugis by Far East Hospitality

Breakfast was very good. Everyday, there were about four to five dishes different from the previous ones served. Plenty of choices. Room is spacious. We got family room and our bed was massive. King plus? 4-5 people can fit in comfortably. My son’s bed is double bed, maybe. Because the beds are big, there is only one side bed table in the middle.

The location was amazing! It was hardly 5 mins walk from the Arab street and Sultan Mosque, where the food is amazing as per our taste! It never costed me more than $13 to reach Sentosa Island or Garden by the Bay, Batfront, from the hotel. The MRT was hardly 7 mins walk as well that connected us to the whole Singapore. The break fast was good and had all the eastern, local and western food.

What an excellent location. Close to the historic Arab Quarter yet just a stroll to the sights of the Colonial District, the Gardens by the Bay and a superb (and large) mid-range shopping district. The hotel itself is lovely albeit getting a bit 'tired' - especially the corridors, although nothing that a bit of a spruce-up wouldn't rectify. Good size rooms, lovely staff and excellent value.

The hotel was centrally located with easy access to bus, train, shops and food. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool was a great bonus after a day of heat and humidity. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Location! Close to restaurants, shops, supermarkets, spa & massages, bus and MRT stations. We were there couple of days before Ramadan. There was Ramadan food market open along the street nearby. We requested for smoking room and they gave us what we wanted. We also requested for 4 hours stay extension and we also got it. It was almost impossible at first cause they were fully booked but thanks to Fabian from front desk who made it happen. Housekeepers always asked what we need in the room even though we didn't need cleaning. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We loved our stay!
